You may be confused, I can't comment about if you are tired or not but I can tell that your not in N.Z. if you haven't heard of a 400 Savage. They were around in 1987-88 and I dont know for how long after but they certainly not being turned out now. They were just the same as the 650 and look to have the same size egine casing so I would suspect they were just not as big in the bore. I think they were also five speed and they definately were chain drive. I hope this clarifies your confusion. My humble appologies for futher adding to this thread distruction. I will gladly give up my bike for a week as punishment -- next winter !!!!!!!!!!
